A little about me…
Let’s take that first step together.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or hopeless in your health and wellness journey, I’m here to help you.
I, too, once had these feelings and struggled to find solutions to my ‘mysterious’ health issues. For years, I suffered as I spent countless hours researching the possible causes of my symptoms while also seeking help from top doctors, who, ultimately, had no answers for me. Finally, with one practitioner, I found a glimmer of hope as I saw some improvement in my health. Slowly but surely, this had a snowball effect. One therapy led to another complementary one, which led to a new mindset, and so on and so forth.
With all of this healing and growth (it can be hard work, I know!) I came to an important conclusion: there is no single solution that will work for everyone; we are all unique minds and bodies and as such, what works for one person may not for another. But wouldn’t it be great if there were a resource that could help guide and support you through the ups and downs of finding your solution to wellness? I hope to be that resource for you.
As an IIN-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I help my clients uncover the methods and mindsets that empower them to live their best lives. Approaching nutrition in a holistic way is key to achieving optimal health. This means going beyond food to include other sources of nourishment in our lives: career, social life, relationships, and physical activity, just to name a few. This holistic approach underscores the ideas that our health and wellness are a reflection of our lives as a whole.
Taking time to quiet the mind and body can also contribute to healing and improving overall wellness. As a certified restorative yoga instructor, I understand the benefits of slowing down and moving the mind and body from a sympathetic (‘fight or flight’) state into a parasympathetic (‘rest and digest’) state. The more time you can spend in the latter, the more opportunity you are giving yourself to heal, reset, and recharge.
As a certified Silent Counsellor, I believe that the emotional energy we carry can have significant impact on our wellbeing. Silent Counselling is a form of energy therapy (as opposed to traditional talk therapy) that focuses on quickly releasing emotional energy trapped in the body from past events, traumas, and situations. These events are manifested in the body and can present as physical, emotional and/or mental challenges. By experiencing this powerful healing technique, you can free yourself from limiting blocks including anxiety, grief, chronic pain, emotional trauma, etc. The result of moving these stored energies is often described as feelings of lightness and optimism.
